Anjalica is a poet of startling emotional intellect and candour whose work testifies to a deep faith in beauty, the power of nature, and ultimately, the human capacity to salvage integrity, radiance and joy from moments of struggle. In this way, Anjalica Solomon’s poems and performances offer robust visions of hope, tenacity, and love.
Upcoming performances/ project:
They are also writing a play called Wings over Water: A Diaspora Bird Play which will premiere at the Vancouver Fringe Festival Sept 10-19.
What is the highlight of your work?
Their most recent poetry film production “Honey Queen” and “Fruiticana On Fraser Street” recently premiered on YouTube and all streaming platforms!
Future goals:
Their goals are to build community around my art especially for South Asian and LGBTQ2+ Writers. They hope to write many books, and to create music and poetry that works towards ancestral healing.
