Upcoming performances/ project: Sowcasing my thesis collection 'Milni' at The Show (April 19&20) at Wilson School of Design What is the highlight of your work? After realizing that many South Asian women were buying traditional garments that they were only wearing once or twice, I wanted to be able to use traditional fabrics from India that would be able to be worn throughout seasons with traditional garments. My culture inspired this collection. Future goals: I would like to work in the fashion industry in Vancouver for a few years before getting a Master’s degree.
