Sandy Sidhu
Ethnicity: Canadian
Occupation and/or Company: Actress
Personal & professional philosophy:
Don’t look down on someone unless you’re helping them up.
Upcoming performances/ project:
My first series regular role in Global TV’s upcoming ensemble medical drama “Nurses” which will air on January 6th. It’s a coming of age series following five rookie nurses working in a downtown Toronto hospital. I play Nazneen Khan who is a smart daughter from a wealthy family in India. She moved to Canada to reinvent herself. I will also be seen recurring on Apple TV’s upcoming series “Home Before Dark” starring Jim Sturgess.
What is the highlight of your work?
To connect people through stories. I believe we are all more alike than we are different. And stories can be a powerful tool to help unite us. Being apart of films or shows that have a positive impact on audiences is the ultimate reward of being an actress.
Future goals:
Working on a set, painting on more canvases and surrounded by the same loving family and friends I have today. Maybe more walks and hikes.
